It can be lonely at the top, but it doesn’t have to be.

We know leaders limit their potential when they lead from isolation. But, when surrounded by trusted advisors with a common goal and a biblical worldview, they can maximize performance and energize cultures. With faith as the foundation, this powerful group of peers meet in an exclusive, confidential forums to have their questions answered and their answers questioned.

TODD DEKRUYTER

Todd has mind of an entrepreneur, the heart of a pastor, and a background in a successful family business. Those three unique passions cultivate his passion for business that matters, an eternal outlook on life, and an ability to understand CEOs and business owners having been in the trenches. DeKruyter founded DK Financial Services, specializing in legacy and estate planning. As a consultant with private equity, enterprise business and single family offices, DeKruyter focused on where estate planning met family business. “Basically, we showed up when families were stuck. Whether it was relational dynamics around the Foundation, the grandkids entering the business, or simply normal relational conflict, we loved it.” Trained at an elite business school, DeKruyter has also earned a seminary degree. These two passions, business and ministry, have marked him for years. He was in full-time pastoral ministry for nearly a decade and spent eight years as an executive at a wealth management and financial planning firm. Those successes allowed DeKruyter to invest in over a dozen private equity deals in the last two decades. DeKruyter achieved his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA) designations. “Being born into a family business sets your view of hard work, and value creation,” DeKruyter says. “When it’s in your DNA it changes how you look at the world.” Excellent contribution is DeKruyter family value, along with generosity and whimsy. Now C12 allows him to live out this tension between business excellence and eternal impact all the while challenging those around him to keep the home fires burning. “CEOs have unique pressures that only true peers can understand. Many C12 members say they’ve found their home when they attend a forum. We get to focus on all three: Business excellence, Ministry Impact, and Family Alignment. It’s quite fun to talk about all three under the authority of God’s Word.” DeKruyter has been happily married since 2002. He and his beautiful wife, Janelle, have four not so young kids—two boys and two girls. Other passions include: backyard chicken farming, watching sports, generosity conversations, good coffee, legacy planning, finding new restaurants, and anything his kids do.

CHUCK FRARY

Chuck is a Chair Emeritus, having been with the C12 Group since 2005.  Chuck combines his passion for serving Christ in the marketplace with a successful career as a business leader and business owner. He has served upwards of 100 business owners as a C12 Chairman – he has seen and experienced a lot of business and ministry challenges! As an entrepreneur, Chuck founded Pave Tech, Inc. in 1984, operating as a specialty contractor in the paving industry in Southern Indiana, Western Kentucky, and Southern Illinois. He sold the company in 2002, having created “repeatable and sustainable processes” as described by Michael Gerber in The E-Myth. As Chuck says it, “I got full market value for my company, provided continuity of success for the new owner, my employees, and our customers. Still, it was difficult to leave the company and the people that worked so diligently to build a great business. But God had something else in store for me. Now I get to help other business owners do what we did – with even greater purpose.” As a full-time C12 chairman, Chuck brings 15 years of experience of professional facilitation of C12 groups. As part of membership in C12 Chuck provides personal business coaching, and is a trusted accountability partner, encourager, and confidant. If you have been called to run a business as a follower of Christ we can help you get a clearer picture of how to do real God-honoring mission work through your business. Visit a C12 Group and enjoy the energy from other business owners. There is a noticeable humility around the C12 table. We are dedicated to helping each other with business wisdom and problem-solving from a higher view. C12 is America’s leading business forum for Christian chief executives and business owners, with 2500+ members worldwide. Experiencing the C12 Group in action is easy. And there is no obligation or cost for your visit. Chuck lives in Carmel Indiana with his wife Jane, a Nurse Practitioner at IU Health. They have four grown children and eleven grandchildren that provide more life lessons every day! Chuck enjoys playing golf, riding motorcycles, and hiking with Jane. He truly loves the game of business too and invites you to enjoy the dynamic C12 Group experience.

STAN GRISWOLD

Stan serves as the C12 Chair for Fort Wayne Indiana. Prior to joining C12 in 2022 he provided business consulting and CEO coaching services for several years. Stan began his consulting and coaching efforts after a 30+ year career in senior executive roles for fortune 500 companies. During his career he held positions in corporate strategy that included successful transactions from $4M to $1+B across three continents, leading the development and implementation of multi-year and annual business plans, and leading new business capture and marketing communications for $1+B business. Stan was led to C12 through the encouragement of friends and mentors who challenged him to have a strong service to God as he walked through the 4th quarter of life. As he explored ways to apply his business experience in an environment that included businesses with Christian values, God led him to C12 and the opportunity to advance the gospel through the marketplace that is central to the C12 heartbeat. Stan is a Michigan native and received his BSEE from Michigan Technological University. He has been married to his wife (Monique) for 42 years and has 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

“C12 is everything I was looking for and more of what I didn’t know I needed. My peers challenge me in my blind spots, love me in hard times, and encourage me to glorify God in the way I lead my team. It’s a home for business leaders.”
