BILL SITTER
Territory Served
William “Bill” Sitter is highly motivated and energized to team with Mike Sharrow and Robert Vogel to bring C12’s valuable offering to Christian business leaders in Central and South Texas. Bill brings a combination of business and non-profit ministry leadership spanning 50 years that encompasses domestic and international experience. With an MBA obtained at age 50, he is a lifelong learner who has also gained Board Certification as a Christian Executive Life Coach. Bill is sought after as a platform speaker, small group facilitator, and workshop presenter. He has authored dozens of nationally-publicized articles in the field of human resources and has published workbooks dealing with the application of Biblical principles in the arena of personal finances. His previous life coaching practice focused on multiple specialty areas that relate to topics relevant to C12 Members, including: Goal Achievement, Team Building, Priority and Time Management, Communications, Sales Techniques/Management; Leadership; Motivational Factors and Personality Styles, Human Resources – hiring and interviewing, Organizational Structures and Removing Roadblocks, and Financial Foundations for Individuals. Bill sees the opportunity to Chair C12 Groups in South Texas as a clear call from God. His background includes: large corporate sales and marketing experience gained with Caterpillar (US/Europe/Middle East) and domestic general management experience with International Harvester. He built a distribution network that successfully grew sales and profits while serving as National Sales Manager for a manufacturer of concrete batch plants and storage facilities. He served as President and General Manager of three different construction and mining equipment distribution companies and gained valuable leadership experience as an Army Captain. Prior to later graduate education and certifications, Bill earned a BA in Economics. He feels that his “street smarts” for business stem from real world successes and some “learning experiences”. His ability to contribute experience-based ideas has been greatly enhanced while completing a very successful small services firm start-up, which he led for 20 years, and from launching and leading a 20-year-old non-profit ministry. Bill and his wife of over 50 years, Maureen, moved to South Texas in 1986, and soon after accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. They live in Comal County on the edge of the Texas Hill Country and have two adult children and two grandchildren. Bill sees C12 as providing him the ideal career calling that allows him the opportunity to work with organizational leaders with the goal of seeing Jesus Christ exemplified in the marketplace.
