TOM CAMACHO
C12 Chair since 2024
Territory Served
Tom began his career in the U.S. military as an officer and helicopter pilot, serving during Operation Desert Storm. After the military, he continued his passion for developing leaders working in manufacturing and organizational development for General Electric in their Aircraft Engines and Nuclear Fuel divisions. During that time, he won awards for excellent management and leadership.
His story took a significant turn when he left GE, joined the staff of his local church in Wilmington, NC, and started his biblical education. After becoming an ordained pastor, he planted several churches. In time, he became the National Coordinator for Leadership Coaching for his group of churches. In that role, he trained leadership coaches, developed a new national leadership conference, and built a network of volunteer leadership coaches around the US.
Feeling the call to pursue leadership development full-time, he transitioned the church he planted in Asheville, NC, to a new pastor, and stepped out to pursue his dream. After a season as an executive leadership coach for Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores, he stepped out again to focus on developing Christ-centered, kingdom-focused leaders. That is when he heard about and became a part of C12.
Tom and his wife, Beth, have been serving Christ since they were married and have empowered their four children to live and serve Christ with their whole hearts and gifts. They live east of Nashville, in Alexandria, Tennessee.
Tom is committed to helping leaders lead at their best and discover the joy of leading well for Christ. His passion is helping leaders build emotionally healthy lives that are joyful, rich in relationships, impactful, and fulfilling.
